The Oriental Motor 5GVH12.5A is a KII Series parallel shaft gearhead with a 12.5:1 gear ratio, a 90 mm (3.54 in) frame and an imperial 3/4 in output shaft. It is designed for Oriental Motor GVH-type pinion shaft motors in the 90 mm, 60 W class, such as the 5IK60GVH induction motors and the 5IK60UGVH speed control motors. Oriental Motor also lists the 90 W 5IK90UGVR speed control motors as compatible.
The 5GVH12.5A reduces motor speed by a factor of 12.5 and increases output torque. With the 60 W 5IK60GVH-UA induction motor at 115 VAC, 60 Hz, it gives a rated speed of 144 rpm and a rated torque of 4.6 N·m (40 lb-in).
