The XCSTA591 is a compact, key-operated safety interlock switch from the Telemecanique Sensors XCS range, formerly sold under the Schneider Electric Preventa brand. It monitors movable machine guards such as doors, hatches and covers. When the guard opens and the actuator is withdrawn, the positive-opening NC contact cuts the safety circuit. The double-insulated polyamide body and turret head make it a durable, cost-effective choice for guarding on packaging, assembly and handling machines.
