The RP-18A-2G-Y-8 is the largest model in Winner Hydraulics’ RP-2G-8 series of balanced poppet relief valves. Rated for 760 L/min at 350 bar, this 18A-2 screw-in cartridge is built for high-volume hydraulic circuits. Its main stage includes an integral 8A-2 control cavity, which accepts any 8A-2 pressure control cartridge as the pilot. The result is a single compact unit that pairs heavy-duty relief capacity with remote or electro-proportional pressure setting.

How It Regulates Pressure
Flow enters at port 1 and exits at port 2. When port 1 pressure rises above the setting of the installed 8A-2 pilot cartridge, the balanced main poppet opens and meters flow to port 2, holding system pressure at the set value. The pilot setting defines the pressure differential between the two ports. Pressure at port 2 is added directly to the setting at a 1:1 ratio.
