RP-16W-26-Y-8 Winner Hydraulics 300 L/min Pilot-Operated Balanced Piston Relief Valve
The RP-16W-26-Y-8 is the 300 L/min model in Winner Hydraulics’ RP-26-8 series of balanced piston relief valves for W-type cavities. It fits the 16W-2 cavity with a 1-5/16″-12UN-2A thread and is rated to 350 bar. Its main stage has an integral 8A-2 control cavity, so any 8A-2 pressure control cartridge can serve as the pilot. That makes it a high-capacity main stage for manual, remote or electro-proportional pressure relief.
Operating Principle
The 8A-2 pilot cartridge sets the relief pressure. When pressure at port 1 exceeds this setting, the main stage opens port 2 and meters flow from port 1 to port 2 (P to T), keeping system pressure under control. The pilot setting governs the pressure differential between the two ports. Back pressure at port 2 adds directly to the setting at a 1:1 ratio. Port 2 is rated for full pressure.
