RP-10W-2S-Y-8 Winner Hydraulics Balanced Piston Relief Valve, 10W-2 Short Type
The Winner Hydraulics RP-10W-2S-Y-8 is a pilot-operated, balanced piston relief valve in Winner’s compact short-type (2S) design for the 10W-2 cavity. It is rated for 95 L/min at 350 bar. Its main stage has an integral 8A-2 control cavity that accepts any 8A-2 pressure control cartridge as the pilot. This makes the RP-10W-2S-Y-8 a space-saving main stage for remote or electro-proportional pressure relief in compact manifolds.
How the Balanced Piston Main Stage Works
Pressure at port 1 acts against the setting of the pilot cartridge installed in the 8A cavity. When that setting is exceeded, the main stage pilot-opens port 2 and meters flow to regulate system pressure. The pilot setting defines the pressure differential between port 1 and port 2. Back pressure at port 2 (tank) adds directly to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio.
