Advanced Balanced-Arm Deflection Mechanism
The PSR-5115 relies on an inline mechanical paddle system that stays entirely isolated from the electrical contact block. As liquid movement exerts force on the lower section of the stainless steel paddle, it pivots a balanced arm assembly against a pre-stressed leaf spring. The opposite side of the balance arm contains a permanent magnet. When fluid flow matches or exceeds the specified setpoint, the magnet shifts into range to actuate a reed contact housed within an exterior plastic casing.
