PPD-11A-3D-Y-Z-74 Winner Hydraulics Proportional Reducing/Relieving Valve, Low Pressure with No Command
The Winner Hydraulics PPD-11A-3D-Y-Z-74 is a direct-acting, spool-type electro-proportional pressure reducing/relieving valve with improved dynamic response, for the 3-port 11A-3 cavity. It is the “current up, pressure up” counterpart of the PPC-11A-3D-Y-Z-74. With no command, the reduced pressure is at its minimum, and increasing coil current raises the reduced pressure proportionally. Rated for 20 L/min at up to 350 bar, protected by US patent US9234605, and able to operate below 1 bar, it suits applications needing precise electronic control of a reduced pressure, from very low values up to high pressure.
How the PPD-11A-3D-Y-Z-74 Works
In reducing mode, oil flows from the inlet to the reduced-pressure port at the level set by the coil current. If the reduced pressure exceeds that setting, the valve relieves the excess to the drain port at full flow. As it moves between reducing and relieving, the spool closes to minimise oil consumption. With zero current the valve delivers its lowest reduced pressure, and raising the current increases it proportionally.

Manufacturer Notes
- Back pressure at port 3 adds directly to the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio.
- With inlet pressures of 210–350 bar, Winner recommends keeping the reduced pressure at port 1 at a minimum of 30 bar for best control.
