Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-60W Wire Gauze Filter Element, 60 Mesh
The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-60W is a genuine replacement element with a 60 mesh wire gauze medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It is the coarsest grade Taisei Kogyo offers for these filters. It acts as a safety screen that traps large particles and foreign objects while giving the lowest flow resistance in the range. This suits very viscous oils, cold-start conditions and high-flow circuits where a finer element would cause excessive pressure drop.
The Most Open Grade in the Range
Taisei Kogyo’s wire gauze mesh grades run 200W, 150W, 100W and 60W. At 60 mesh, this element is designed for coarse protection rather than fine cleanliness. Where finer oil cleanliness is also required, it is often combined with a finer filter elsewhere in the system. The same 60 mesh rating is available in notch wire as 60K.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-60W, P-UM-10-60W and P-UH-10A-60W, and their 12 size equivalents.
