Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-40UW Wire Gauze Filter Element, 40 µm
The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-40UW is a genuine replacement element with a 40 µm wire gauze medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It is a coarse, free-flowing grade for protective filtration. It keeps larger particles and debris out of the circuit while adding very little pressure drop, which suits high-flow lines and systems that are less sensitive to fine contamination.
Wire Gauze Instead of 40 µm Paper
The 40 µm paper grade (40U) is not available for water-glycol fluids. The wire gauze 40UW gives the same rating with a metal mesh medium, and Taisei Kogyo offers wire gauze grades across its fluid options. This version is for mineral oil.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-40UW, P-UM-10-40UW and P-UH-10A-40UW, and their 12 size equivalents.
