The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-200K is a genuine replacement element with a 200 mesh notch wire medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It is the finest mesh-rated notch wire grade. It suits circuits with heavy particle contamination that need a tighter screen than 150 or 100 mesh, while keeping the easy-clean benefits of notch wire.
200K Notch Wire vs. 200W Wire Gauze
Both grades are rated at 200 mesh and fit the same housings. The difference is the medium. The 200W uses woven wire gauze. The 200K uses Taisei Kogyo’s non-woven, single-layer notch wire, which the manufacturer describes as easy to clean when clogged and stable in filtration accuracy.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-200K, P-UM-10-200K and P-UH-10A-200K, and their 12 size equivalents.
