Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-10UW Wire Gauze Filter Element, 10 µm
The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-10UW is a genuine replacement element with a 10 µm wire gauze medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It gives the same 10 µm rating as the popular 10U paper element, but uses a woven metal mesh. That makes it the alternative when a paper medium is not the preferred choice for the application.
10UW vs. 10U Paper
Both grades filter to 10 µm and fit the same housings. The main difference is the medium: paper (10U) or wire gauze (10UW). Taisei Kogyo offers the wire gauze grades across its fluid options, and the 10UW is also available for water-glycol systems as P-G-UL,UM,UH-10,12-10UW.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-10UW, P-UM-10-10UW and P-UH-10A-10UW, and their 12 size equivalents.
