Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-100W Wire Gauze Filter Element, 100 Mesh
The Taisei Kogyo P-UL,UM,UH-10,12-100W is a genuine replacement element with a 100 mesh wire gauze medium, for Taisei Kogyo U series line filters in sizes 10A and 12A. It is a coarse, strainer-type grade. Its job is to stop larger solid debris reaching downstream components while letting oil flow almost unrestricted, which suits high-viscosity oils, high flow rates and lines where pressure drop must be kept to a minimum.
Position in the Mesh Range
Taisei Kogyo’s wire gauze mesh grades run 200W, 150W, 100W and 60W, from finest to coarsest. The 100W is the second-coarsest. For a slightly tighter screen, choose the 150W. For the most open option, choose the 60W. The same 100 mesh rating is also available in notch wire as 100K.
Common to UL, UM and UH
This element fits UL (up to 3.5 MPa), UM (up to 7 MPa) and UH (up to 21 MPa) filters. The common code printed on the label is the same product as P-UL-10A-100W, P-UM-10-100W and P-UH-10A-100W, and their 12 size equivalents.
