The Koganei ORC40X500-ZG530B2 is a double-acting slit type rodless cylinder from the Koganei ORCA Series. Koganei’s official order code for this model is ORCA40X500-ZG530B2. The cylinder body is almost the same length as the stroke, so it needs about half the installation space of a conventional rod cylinder. Long Stroke, Half the Space
On a rod cylinder, the rod adds roughly the stroke length again to the overall length. In the ORCA Series, the load is carried by a piston mount that travels along the cylinder barrel. A slit in the barrel is sealed by inner and outer seal bands made of bend- and wear-resistant stainless chrome steel. Several piping ports allow flexible plumbing, including piping from one side only.
