Kobold NKP-65011.6 – NKP Side-Mounted Float Level Switch, M16 Bulkhead, PVDF, 1 m Cable
The Kobold NKP-65011.6 is a side-mounted float level switch from Kobold’s NKP series, with an M16 bulkhead connection, PVDF construction and a 1 m cable. It mounts through a hole in the tank wall and is fixed with a nut, which makes it ideal for thin-walled plastic tanks containing aggressive chemicals or hot liquids.
PVDF offers excellent chemical resistance and a higher temperature rating than polypropylene, so this model suits acids, alkalis, solvents and process liquids up to 100 °C. The bulkhead seal is FKM (FPM), which also resists aggressive media. A hinged float with a magnet switches a hermetically sealed reed contact as the level passes the switch point. The function can be changed between normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) by rotating the switch 180°.
