Indelec PrimeR® Heritage Building ESE Air Terminal – P1314
The Indelec PrimeR® Heritage Building (P1314) is an Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning conductor specially designed in copper to meet the aesthetic requirements of heritage buildings. It is made for churches, cathedrals, castles, historic monuments, museums and listed buildings, where lightning protection has to respect the architecture as well as protect it.
High Performance: 60 µs Advance Time
Despite its heritage-friendly design, the PrimeR® offers a 60 µs advance time (ΔT), the same as Indelec’s flagship Prevectron® 3 S60. It uses Indelec’s patented principle of electronically controlled variation of the tip shape to trigger the upward streamer early and extend the protected area.
Designed for Historic Architecture
The housing is copper-coated steel with EMC shielding, and the central rod is 200 mm² copper, so the terminal suits the traditional materials of historic roofs and spires. Indelec shows the PrimeR® mounted on its copper ornamental rooster “Louis” (ref. P10.014), a typical solution for church spires and bell towers.
PrimeR® or Prevectron® 3 S60?
Both offer a 60 µs advance time. Choose the PrimeR® Heritage Building when aesthetics matter: listed buildings, churches and historic monuments. For industrial, commercial and modern buildings, the Prevectron 3 S60 (P1543) offers a 316 stainless steel housing, OptiMax® technology and UL certification.
Complete the Installation
After a lightning strike, a lightning protection system must be inspected. This is especially important on heritage buildings, where damage can be costly and hard to repair. An Indelec P8011 lightning counter on the down conductor records every strike, so you know when an inspection is due.
