The IFM IG0305 (shortcode: IGB3005-BPKG/US-100) is a robust and dependable inductive proximity sensor designed for general industrial automation and manufacturing applications. Built into a durable rectangular plastic housing made of PBT with dimensions of 80 x 40 x 40 mm, it features a non-flush mountable installation configuration. It provides a rated sensing range of 5 mm, a real sensing range ($Sr$) of 5 mm $\pm$ 10%, and an operating distance of 0 to 4.05 mm. The sensor includes a rotatable sensing face capable of 5 different installation positions and a clear PEI LED window for operational status visibility. Material correction factors include mild steel = 1, stainless steel approx. 0.7, brass approx. 0.4, aluminium approx. 0.3, and copper approx. 0.2.
