EUCHNER ESM-BT421-50S Safety Relay with Fixed 5 s Time Delay
The EUCHNER ESM-BT421-50S (order no. 090094) is the fixed-delay version of the ESM-BT421. Its delayed contact opens after a factory-set 5 seconds, with no potentiometer. Because the run-down time can’t be changed on site, it suits OEM machines with a set braking or stopping time, where settings must not be altered after commissioning. It runs on 24 V AC/DC and reaches PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
3 Instantaneous + 1 Delayed Contact
Safety contacts 13-14, 23-24 and 33-34 open immediately and are rated Category 4 / PL e (PFHd 4.22 x 10⁻⁸). Contact 47-48 opens after the fixed 5 s delay and is rated Category 3 / PL e (PFHd 8.84 x 10⁻⁸).
Response and Capacity
The response delay is max. 20 ms, and the cumulative current is max. 15 A across all contacts.
