EUCHNER ESM-2H201 Two-Hand Control Safety Relay
The EUCHNER ESM-2H201 (order no. 085620) is a basic module from the ESM safety relay range, built as a Type IIIC evaluation unit for two-hand control devices. It meets requirement level IIIC to EN ISO 13851 and reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1. That makes it a good fit for presses and other machines where the operator must keep both hands on the controls during the hazardous movement.
Simultaneity Monitoring for Two-Hand Operation
The ESM-2H201 checks that both pushbuttons are pressed together before it enables the safety outputs. Short-circuit and earth-fault monitoring can be selected, and LEDs show the status of the relays.
Two Redundant Safety Contacts
The module switches through two floating, positively driven relay contacts. It has a maximum cumulative contact current of 12 A and a response delay of max. 0.02 s.
