The Panasonic ECW-F2105JB is a 1 µF, 250 V DC, ±5 % metallized polypropylene film capacitor from the ECWF(B) series. Panasonic designed this series for high-current, high-frequency circuits, such as the power supply, deflection and resonant stages of TVs, monitors and industrial power supplies. Its low-loss dielectric and excellent frequency characteristics make it a typical choice for snubbers, resonant tanks and pulse circuits. The ECWF(B) series no longer appears in Panasonic’s current catalogue. The ECW-F2105JB is therefore supplied as a like-for-like replacement for boards and equipment already in service. It keeps the original 20 mm lead spacing and body size, so no PCB changes are needed.
