The Panasonic ECW-F2105JA (listed by Panasonic as ECWF2105JA) is a 1 µF, 250 V DC, ±5 % metallized polypropylene (MPP) film capacitor from the current ECWF(A) series. It has a non-inductive construction and a flame-retardant epoxy resin coating. Combined with polypropylene’s very low dissipation factor (tan δ < 0.1 % at 1 kHz), this suits it to high-frequency and high-current circuits. Typical uses are switching power supplies, snubbers, resonant circuits and filtering in industrial drives and control electronics. It is a compact, resin-dipped radial part with 15 mm lead spacing and straight leads, rated from −40 to +105 °C, and Panasonic lists it with a built-in safety mechanism. It is also the current Panasonic counterpart of the older ECWF(B) part ECW-F2105JB.
