Diagnosis: A common issue with dual-inlet blowers is overheating due to «free blowing.» If the fan is tested on a bench without ductwork connected, it moves too much air, causing the motor to draw excessive current and trip the thermal overload. Always test with resistance. If the fan hums but doesn’t spin, check the capacitor (usually mounted externally). Installation Advice: Since it draws air from both sides, ensure there is sufficient clearance (at least 1/3 of the diameter) on both sides of the casing within the plenum. Blocking one side drastically reduces efficiency and unbalances the impeller thrust. Compatibility: Fully compatible with Siemens LOGO! relay outputs for ON/OFF control.
