The D2E133-AM47-01 is a high-performance double-inlet centrifugal blower from ebm-papst. Featuring a 133mm forward-curved impeller (Sirocco type), this unit is designed to draw air in from both sides of the scroll housing, effectively doubling the intake area compared to single-inlet models. This design allows for high airflow rates at relatively low rotational speeds, resulting in quieter operation. Ideally suited for residential ventilation units, heat recovery systems, and compact air handling units, the D2E133-AM47-01 is powered by a robust single-phase AC external rotor motor located directly in the airstream for optimal cooling.

Field Engineering & Maintenance
Lifecycle State: Active. Diagnosis: A common issue with dual-inlet blowers is overheating due to «free blowing.» If the fan is tested on a bench without ductwork connected, it moves too much air, causing the motor to draw excessive current and trip the thermal overload. Always test with resistance. If the fan hums but doesn’t spin, check the capacitor (usually mounted externally). Installation Advice: Since it draws air from both sides, ensure there is sufficient clearance (at least 1/3 of the diameter) on both sides of the casing within the plenum. Blocking one side drastically reduces efficiency and unbalances the impeller thrust. Compatibility: Fully compatible with Siemens LOGO! relay outputs for ON/OFF control. It supports speed regulation via voltage transformers (e.g., 5-step controllers) commonly used in building ventilation to adjust air changes per hour (ACH).
