Omron E3AS-HL500MT-M1TJ 0.3M – E3AS-HL Distance-Settable Photoelectric Sensor, 35–500 mm, PNP, IO-Link, M12 Connector
The Omron E3AS-HL500MT-M1TJ 0.3M is a distance-settable photoelectric sensor from Omron’s E3AS-HL series. It uses a CMOS receiver, a class 1 red laser with a spot beam and background suppression to detect objects between 35 mm and the set distance (up to 500 mm). It has a PNP output and IO-Link (COM3), with a 0.3 m prewired cable ending in an M12 Smartclick connector.
Background suppression means the sensor detects only objects within the set distance and ignores anything behind them, regardless of colour or surface. The CMOS technology gives precise, stable detection of difficult targets such as dark, shiny or small parts. The short cable with M12 connector makes installation and replacement quick: the sensor plugs straight into a standard M12 cordset, with no rewiring. Through IO-Link, settings and diagnostics can be read and changed from the PLC.
