Omron E3AS-HL500MT 2M – E3AS-HL Distance-Settable Photoelectric Sensor, 35–500 mm, PNP, IO-Link
The Omron E3AS-HL500MT 2M is a distance-settable photoelectric sensor from Omron’s E3AS-HL series. It uses a CMOS receiver, a class 1 red laser with a spot beam and background suppression to detect objects between 35 mm and the set distance (up to 500 mm). It has a PNP output, IO-Link (COM3) and a 2 m prewired cable.
Background suppression means the sensor detects only objects within the set distance and ignores anything behind them, regardless of colour or surface. The CMOS technology gives precise, stable detection of difficult targets, such as dark, shiny or small parts. The stainless steel housing is built for harsh environments in the automotive, food and consumer goods industries. Through IO-Link, settings and diagnostics can be read and changed from the PLC, making format changes and sensor replacement faster.
