Omron E32-C31N 2M – E32 Diffuse Reflective Fiber Unit, M3, Right-Angle, Coaxial, 2 m
The Omron E32-C31N 2M is a diffuse reflective fiber optic unit from Omron’s E32 series. It has a compact M3 threaded head with right-angle (side) sensing, a coaxial fiber arrangement, a flexible R4 fiber and a 2 m fiber cable. It is rated IP67.
At only M3, this is one of Omron’s smallest reflective fiber heads, designed for detecting very small objects in very tight spaces, where even an M6 fiber unit would not fit. The right-angle head suits installations with little depth behind the mounting point. The coaxial design gives stable detection regardless of the target’s direction of approach. The fiber is free-cutting, so it can be cut to the required length on site. Optional E39-F3 lens units can be fitted to focus the beam on very small targets.
