Omron E2NC-EM07M-F – E2NC Smart Proximity Sensor Head, M18, Unshielded, 7 mm, Free-Cutting Cable
The Omron E2NC-EM07M-F is a high-precision inductive sensor head from Omron’s E2NC Smart Proximity Sensor series. It has an M18 × 46.3 mm unshielded head, a 7 mm sensing distance and a repeat accuracy of 5 µm, with a free-cutting cable that can be cut to length on site.
The E2NC is not a simple on/off proximity switch: it is a measuring proximity sensor. The sensor head connects to a separate E2NC amplifier unit that shows the distance to the metal target as a value and can switch outputs at precisely set positions. This makes it suitable for positioning, dimension checking, and detecting deviations of a few microns. The M18 unshielded head is the long-range model of the series. The free-cutting version (-F) allows the cable to be shortened to fit the machine, avoiding excess cable in tight installations.
