Omron E2NC-EA21 2M – E2NC Smart Proximity Sensor Amplifier, NPN, 2 Outputs + 1 Input
The Omron E2NC-EA21 2M is an advanced amplifier unit for Omron’s E2NC Smart Proximity Sensor series. It has 2 NPN outputs and 1 external input, a dual digital display, a 10–30 V DC supply and a 2 m prewired cable. It works with all E2NC sensor heads, such as the E2NC-EM07M-F.
The amplifier turns the sensor head’s signal into a measured distance value shown on the display. It can then switch its two outputs at precisely set positions, for example for upper and lower tolerance limits. The external input can be used for functions such as teaching or zero reset from the PLC. The dual 7-segment display shows the measured value and the threshold at the same time, and its direction can be reversed to suit the mounting. Up to five amplifiers can be mounted side by side with mutual interference prevention, for multi-point measurement.
