Omron E2A-S08LN04-M1-B1 – E2A M8 Inductive Proximity Sensor, 4 mm, PNP NO, Stainless Steel
The Omron E2A-S08LN04-M1-B1 is an M8 inductive proximity sensor from Omron’s E2A series. It has a long stainless steel housing, a non-shielded (non-flush) sensing face with a 4 mm sensing distance, a PNP normally open output and an M12 connector.
Inductive sensors detect metal objects without contact, so there is no mechanical wear. The E2A is Omron’s standard cylindrical proximity sensor for general automation. The stainless steel version, with protection rated IP67 and IP69K, is built for washdown and harsh environments such as food and beverage processing. The non-shielded design gives a longer sensing distance than a shielded M8 sensor of the same size, and the M12 connector makes replacement quick without rewiring.
