EUCHNER CES-AZ-UES-02B Multicode Evaluation Unit for 2 Read Heads
The EUCHNER CES-AZ-UES-02B (order no. 105140) is the two-channel multicode evaluation unit in the CES-AZ series. It monitors two guard doors, including doors with guard-locking read heads for overtravel protection. Because it accepts any suitable actuator, it is a practical choice for machines serviced by different teams, where fast part replacement matters more than a high coding level. It reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Multicode: Plug-and-Play Actuator Replacement
Every suitable actuator is detected without teach-in, so a replacement actuator works as soon as it is fitted. For tamper resistance with teach-in actuators, EUCHNER offers the unicode CES-AZ-AES-02B.
Per-Door Monitoring
Each read head has its own semiconductor output (O1, O2), plus a diagnostic output (DIA). The two safety outputs, each with two internally connected NO contacts, are rated DC-13 24 V / 3 A and AC-15 230 V / 2 A. Response time is max. 210 ms with one active actuator and max. 290 ms with two.
