EUCHNER CES-AZ-UES-01B Multicode Evaluation Unit for 1 Read Head
The EUCHNER CES-AZ-UES-01B (order no. 105139) is the multicode version of the single-channel CES-AZ evaluation unit. It works with read heads that have integrated guard locking, to protect personnel from machine movements that overtravel after stopping. It reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Multicode: No Teach-In Needed
Every suitable actuator is detected, so no teach-in is required. A damaged actuator can be replaced straight from stock, with no jumper setting or commissioning step, which keeps service downtime short. For the higher coding level of teach-in actuators, EUCHNER offers the unicode CES-AZ-AES-01B.
Safety and Monitoring Outputs
The unit has two safety outputs, each with two internally connected NO contacts, rated up to 30 V / 6 A and 230 V / 2 A depending on utilization category. It also has a semiconductor door-monitoring output and a diagnostic output. The maximum OFF time after the actuator is removed is 210 ms.
