EUCHNER CES-AZ-ALS-04B-113090 Evaluation Unit for 4 Read Heads
The EUCHNER CES-AZ-ALS-04B-113090 (order no. 113090) is a four-channel evaluation unit from the CES-AZ series. It is built for guarding concepts that combine transponder-coded door monitoring with guard locking. It works with read heads that have integrated guard locking, such as EUCHNER CEM and CET models, to protect personnel from machine movements that overtravel after stopping. It reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Two Independent Safety Paths
The unit has two redundant safety paths, each with two monitored normally open contacts. Each path is independently safe. The safety outputs are rated DC-13 24 V / 3 A and AC-15 230 V / 2 A.
Unicode Coding and Full Diagnostics
Only taught-in actuators are recognised, and they are taught in by setting a jumper. Besides the four door-monitoring outputs (O1–O4), the unit has a self-test input (TST), a diagnostic output (DIA), a feedback loop (Y1/Y2) and a start button input (S). LEDs show the diagnostic and safety output status. Response time ranges from max. 210 ms with one active actuator to max. 450 ms with four.
