EUCHNER CES-AZ-AES-04B Unicode Evaluation Unit for 4 Read Heads
The EUCHNER CES-AZ-AES-04B (order no. 104780) is the largest evaluation unit in the CES-AZ series. One DIN-rail module monitors up to four guard doors, including doors with guard-locking read heads for overtravel protection. On multi-door cells and production lines, this saves both panel space and wiring. With read heads and actuators, it reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Four Doors, Four Monitoring Outputs
Each read head has its own semiconductor monitoring output, so the controller can see exactly which guard is open. Response time rises with the number of active actuators: max. 210 ms with one, 290 ms with two, 370 ms with three and 450 ms with four.
Unicode Safety Outputs
Only taught-in actuators are recognised, which gives a high coding level. The unit has two safety outputs, each with two internally connected NO contacts, rated DC-13 24 V / 3 A and AC-15 230 V / 2 A.
