EUCHNER CES-AZ-AES-01B Unicode Evaluation Unit for 1 Read Head
The EUCHNER CES-AZ-AES-01B (order no. 104770) is a single-channel evaluation unit from the CES-AZ series. It is designed for one guard door, and it works with read heads that have integrated guard locking. That makes it suitable for protecting people from machine movements that continue after the stop command, such as spindles or rotating parts that overtravel. With read head and actuator, it reaches Category 4 / PL e to EN ISO 13849-1.
Unicode with Jumper Teach-In
The unit recognises only taught-in actuators, which gives it a high coding level. New actuators are taught in by setting a jumper.
Two Redundant Safety Outputs
The unit has two safety outputs. Each one is a relay contact with two internally connected NO contacts, rated DC-13 24 V / 3 A and AC-15 230 V / 2 A. The maximum OFF time after the actuator is removed is 210 ms. A start button and feedback loop can be connected.
