AEJ11024 Panasonic EJ Relay – High-Capacity DC Cutoff, 100 A at 100 V DC, 24 V DC Coil
The Panasonic AEJ11024 is a high-capacity DC cutoff relay from the EJ series. It has a single normally open contact (1 Form A) that switches up to 100 A at 100 V DC, with screw terminals for heavy main-circuit cabling and a 24 V DC single-side-stable coil. DC loads are harder to interrupt than AC loads because there is no zero crossing to extinguish the arc. Relays such as the EJ are designed specifically to break high DC currents in battery systems, DC power distribution and other high-current DC circuits. Panasonic has discontinued the EJ series, and the AEJ11024 is supplied as a direct replacement for equipment already in service, so the existing mounting, cabling and control circuit stay unchanged.
