WAGO 750-880 Controller ETHERNET, 3rd Generation, SD Card Slot
The WAGO 750-880 is a programmable ETHERNET controller (PLC) for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750. It is a 3rd-generation controller with an SD card slot, which combines control logic and fieldbus communication in one compact DIN-rail unit. It is widely installed in machine building, building automation and infrastructure projects, and remains a sought-after part for keeping existing systems running.
Programming with CODESYS 2.3
The 750-880 is programmed in WAGO-I/O-PRO V2.3, based on CODESYS V2.3, to IEC 61131-3. It has 1,024 kB of program memory, 1,024 kB of data memory and 32 kB of non-volatile memory for retain data. The SD card slot can be used for data storage and backup.
Two Ethernet Ports with Integrated Switch
Two 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet ports with an integrated switch allow line topology without an external switch. The controller supports Modbus TCP and EtherNet/IP, plus standard IT protocols including HTTP (web server), FTP, SNMP, SNTP, DHCP and DNS.
I/O Capacity
Up to 64 WAGO 750 I/O modules can be connected directly, with a process image of up to 1,020 words input and 1,020 words output. The controller runs on a 24 V DC supply (-25 to +30 %).
Lifecycle Note
WAGO lists a successor model for the 750-880 on its website. For existing installations, the original 750-880 is the direct replacement, with no reprogramming or migration needed. For new projects, our team can advise on WAGO’s current controller range.
