WAGO 750-602 Power Supply Module, 24 VDC
The WAGO 750-602 is a passive 24 VDC power supply module for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750. It feeds the field supply voltage into a WAGO I/O node and distributes it to the modules that follow through the power jumper contacts. It is an essential part of any node that needs a new or separate 24 VDC potential group, for example to supply a group of output modules separately or to add fresh field power partway along a long node.
How It Works
The 24 VDC field supply connects to the module’s CAGE CLAMP® terminals. The 750-602 then passes this voltage to the adjacent I/O modules through its outgoing power jumper contacts, with up to 10 A total. The 5 V system supply and the internal data bus pass through the module on its data contacts, so communication with the head station is not interrupted.
When You Need a 750-602
- Separate potential groups: to power a group of I/O modules from a different 24 VDC source, for example actuators on their own emergency stop circuit.
- Long nodes with high current: to refresh the field supply when the modules downstream draw more current than the head station’s power contacts can deliver.
- Supply after special modules: to restore the 24 VDC potential after modules that do not pass the field supply through.
