WAGO 750-400 2-Channel Digital Input Module, 24 VDC, 3 ms
The WAGO 750-400 is a 2-channel digital input module for the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM 750. It receives control signals from digital field devices and passes them to the fieldbus coupler or controller. Unlike high-density 8-channel modules, the 750-400 has eight CAGE CLAMP® connection points for just two inputs. That lets each sensor be wired directly to the module with its own supply and ground, with no extra terminal blocks.
Direct Sensor Wiring: 2-, 3- and 4-Conductor
With four connection points per channel, the 750-400 supports 2-conductor, 3-conductor and 4-conductor sensor connections. It is the practical choice for 3-wire proximity switches, photoelectric sensors and other devices that need a 24 VDC supply, because it keeps the cabinet tidy and reduces wiring time.
3 ms Input Filter
Each channel has a 3 ms input filter that rejects contact bounce and electrical noise. A logic “0” is -3 to +5 VDC and a logic “1” is 15 to 30 VDC, with a typical input current of 4.5 mA. The field and system sides are isolated at 500 VAC, and the module draws only 3.7 mA from the 5 V system supply.
2 Channels or 8 Channels?
- 750-400 (2 channels): direct sensor wiring with supply and ground at the module.
- 750-430 (8 channels): maximum input density in a 12 mm module, for simple contacts and signals.
