The Oriental Motor 5GV30B is a KII Series parallel shaft gearhead with a 30:1 gear ratio, a 90 mm (3.54 in) frame and a metric 18 mm output shaft. It is designed for Oriental Motor GV-type pinion shaft motors in the 90 mm, 40 W class, including the 5IK40GV induction motors, the 5IK40UGV speed control motors and the SCM540GV speed control motors.
The 5GV30B reduces motor speed by a factor of 30 and increases output torque by the same factor. Paired with a 40 W speed control motor, it is rated for up to 8.3 N·m of permissible torque.
