The 5GU75K from Oriental Motor is a GU-type parallel shaft gearhead with a high 75:1 reduction ratio, for 90 mm (3.54 in.) square frame motors with a GU-type pinion shaft. It slows the output to about 24 r/min at 60 Hz (20 r/min at 50 Hz), delivering strong torque multiplication through a sturdy 15 mm metric output shaft. It is designed for slow-moving, heavier-duty drives such as turntables, indexing mechanisms, accumulation conveyors and stirrers, where low speed and higher output torque are needed together.
