The Festo 574334 (type SMT-8M-A-PS-24V-E-0,3-M8D) is a magnetoresistive proximity sensor for detecting piston position on pneumatic actuators with a T-slot. It drops into the slot from above and is fixed with a screw, so you can fit or move it without taking the cylinder apart. It has a PNP normally open (N/O) output on 5–30 V DC and is fully electronic, with no moving contacts.
The sensor comes with a 0.3 m PUR cable and an M8x1 3-pin plug with screw lock. The cable is suitable for energy chains and robot applications.
