Burkert 559168 – ELEMENT Display Module for Bürkert Measuring Devices
The Burkert 559168 (00559168, Type SET8) is the original plug-in display module for Bürkert ELEMENT measuring devices. It has a built-in navigation button and lets operators read measured values and configure the device’s parameters directly on site. In Bürkert’s operating instructions, 559168 is the order code under which the display module is supplied.
Which Devices It Fits
The module is an accessory for the Bürkert ELEMENT family of measuring devices. Bürkert links the 559168 to the Type 8222 ELEMENT conductivity meter documentation, in its Standard, Neutrino and Neutrino IO-Link versions. It also links the Type 8202/8222 connecting-box gasket replacement instructions. For any other ELEMENT device, Bürkert refers to that device’s own operating manual for setup using the display module.
Fitting in Seconds
The display module locks into the ELEMENT housing with a simple twist:
- Turn the device cover about 15° anticlockwise and lift it off.
- Set the module about 20° away from the desired position, push it fully in and turn it clockwise to lock.
- Refit the cover by matching its 4 grooves to the housing pins and turning about 15° clockwise.
The module can be mounted in four positions at 90° intervals, so the display reads correctly however the device is installed. To remove it, press it flat with your palm and turn about 20° to the left; a spring lifts it out. Bürkert notes that the device is not sealed while the cover is off, and that metal parts must not touch the electronics.
