WAGO 2016-1201 TOPJOB® S 2-Conductor Through Terminal Block, 16 mm²
The WAGO 2016-1201 is a grey 2-conductor through terminal block from the TOPJOB® S range, rated for 16 mm² conductors. It uses Push-in CAGE CLAMP® connection technology. It is the next size up from the 10 mm² 2010-1201, built for power distribution circuits, motor feeders and main supply wiring in control cabinets, where currents are higher. It mounts on DIN-35 rails (35 x 15 and 35 x 7.5) and is suitable for Ex e II applications.
Higher Current Capacity
To IEC, the 2016-1201 is rated 800 V and 76 A, with a rated impulse voltage of 8 kV. For North American projects it is rated 600 V / 85 A (UL) and 600 V / 80 A (CSA). In Ex e II applications it is rated 70 A, or 67 A with a jumper.
Wide Conductor Range
The terminal accepts solid conductors from 0.5 to 16 mm² (20–6 AWG) and fine-stranded conductors from 0.5 to 25 mm² (20–4 AWG), with a strip length of 18–20 mm. With Push-in CAGE CLAMP®, solid conductors and conductors with ferrules are simply pushed in. Fine-stranded conductors and conductor removal are handled with an operating tool.
