Burkert 159125 – Type 0121 2/2-Way Solenoid Valve for Aggressive Media
The Burkert 159125 (00159125) is a Type 0121 direct-acting 2/2-way pivoted armature solenoid valve. Bürkert describes it as a “2/2-way solenoid valve for aggressive medium”. The Type 0121 is Bürkert’s media-separated valve for critical fluids, available up to DN 8, with bodies in PVC, PTFE or stainless steel 1.4401. A diaphragm completely isolates the coil system from the medium, which makes the 0121 especially suited to aggressive acids and lyes.
How Media Separation Protects the Valve
In a conventional plunger valve, the medium flows around the moving core. In the 0121, a diaphragm seals the pivoted armature off from the process fluid, so no wetted metal parts reach the magnetic system. Bürkert describes the technology as maintenance-free. It also gives the valve a vibration-proof, block-screwed coil system and a service-friendly, robust manual override for start-up and testing. The coil is moulded in chemically resistant epoxy, insulation class H.
