Koganei 100-4E2-83-DC24V Solenoid Valve
The Koganei 100-4E2-83-DC24V is a direct-acting, 5-port, 2-position, double solenoid valve from Koganei’s 100 series, designed for reliable control of Φ20–50mm bore air cylinders. It uses a pressure-balanced poppet sealing method for low power consumption and stable operation even in high-cycle applications, and is supplied with 24V DC solenoids on both sides.

About the “-83” Option Code
As with the single-solenoid 100-4E1-83-DC24V, Koganei’s published order-code list for the 100 series includes options such as -21 (mounting base), -39 (DIN connector), -70 (speed controller), -75 (muffler), -LF (LED indicator), and -SR (built-in flywheel diode) — but we could not confirm “-83” specifically against the documentation reviewed. We’d recommend confirming this against your supplier’s datasheet before publishing it as a defined feature on the listing.
Applications
Used for pilot and main-line control of pneumatic cylinders in the 20–50mm bore range where a latching (double solenoid) valve is preferred — holds its last commanded position without continuous power, useful for fail-in-place applications and reducing coil duty cycle.
