Kobold NKP-25011.6 – NKP Side-Mounted Float Level Switch, PVDF, 1/2″ NPT
The Kobold NKP-25011.6 is a side-mounted float level switch from Kobold’s NKP series, built in PVDF with a 1/2″ NPT connection. It is designed for level monitoring in tanks containing aggressive liquids, and mounts in the side wall of the tank, which is ideal where the top or bottom is not accessible.
PVDF offers excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals and higher temperatures than the polypropylene version, so this model suits acids, alkalis, solvents and hot process liquids. The float contains a magnet that switches a hermetically sealed reed contact as the level rises or falls past the switch point. The function can be changed between normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) by rotating the switch 180°. The simple design is virtually maintenance-free.
