The Omron NS8-TV01B-V2 is a programmable terminal (HMI) from Omron’s NS series, with an 8.4-inch TFT colour touch screen at 640 × 480 pixels (VGA), built-in Ethernet and a black housing.
The NS series was Omron’s standard HMI platform for CS, CJ and CP PLC systems for many years. The NS8 integrates closely with Omron controllers through Single Port Multi Access (SPMA), which lets both the PLC program and screen data be transferred through one port. Projects are created with CX-Designer (part of CX-One). Because existing CX-Designer projects load directly onto a replacement NS8, a like-for-like replacement is the fastest way to get a machine running again without rebuilding screens.
