Omron E5EK-AA2-DRT-500 – E5EK Temperature / Process Controller, 1/8 DIN, 100–240 V AC
The Omron E5EK-AA2-DRT-500 (AC100-240) is a digital temperature and process controller from Omron’s E5EK series. It has a 1/8 DIN (96 × 48 mm) vertical format, a dual display for process value and setpoint, and two relay outputs. It accepts a wide range of inputs: thermocouples, resistance thermometers (RTD), current and voltage signals.
The E5EK was widely used in plastics machinery, ovens, furnaces, packaging equipment and process plants for accurate PID or on/off control. Its modular design allowed option cards to be added for extra outputs or communications. As the series is no longer produced, a direct replacement with the same reference is often the simplest way to keep a machine running without changing panel cut-outs, wiring or settings.
