Burkert 444005 – Type SE35 Inline Flow Transmitter, 4–20 mA 2-Wire + Pulse, Cable Plug
The Burkert 444005 (00444005) is a Type SE35 inline flow transmitter with display. It is the base standard-signal variant of the SE35 range, with these features:

Mounted with a quarter-turn bayonet on a Bürkert Type S030 inline sensor-fitting, it forms the complete Type 8035 inline paddle-wheel flowmeter for pipes from DN 06 to DN 65.
Simple 2-Wire Loop with Plug Connection
Two features set the 444005 apart within the SE35 family. First, the 4–20 mA output runs as a 2-wire loop, so supply and signal share the same pair. Second, it connects through a standard form A cable plug instead of cable glands. This makes it the quickest SE35 to wire and to swap. The transmitter can be removed from the S030 fitting without opening the pipe or stopping the process. The pulse output, adjustable from 0 to 400 Hz, adds a volume-proportional frequency signal for counters or PLCs.
How the 8035 Measures
As liquid flows through the S030 fitting, it turns a PVDF paddle wheel with four built-in magnets. The Hall sensor in the SE35 detects the rotation through the fitting wall, and the transmitter converts the frequency into flow rate and volume using the fitting’s K factor or an on-site teach-in.

Configuration and Testing
From the keypad you can set language, engineering units, K factor or teach-in, the 4–20 mA range, pulse value and damping. The test menu lets you adjust the 4–20 mA offset and span, read the paddle-wheel frequency, and simulate a flow rate to check the outputs without any actual flow.
