Flipper Pilot Technology
The Type 6510 combines a Type 6144 flipper pilot valve with a servo-controlled pneumatic seat valve. Bürkert’s flipper system switches high pressures with very low power consumption, just 0.8 W nominal, and very short switching times. Opening takes less than 15 ms and closing less than 10 ms, measured to ISO 12238. Every 6510 valve has a manual override as standard.
Built for Valve Islands
At only 10 mm wide, the 6510 is designed for compact pneumatic automation. Its MP01 flange interface allows dense mounting on the Bürkert Type 8640 modular valve island (11 mm grid). It is used to drive pneumatic cylinders and process valve actuators from a central control cabinet. Because the valve is servo-controlled, it needs a minimum supply pressure of 2.5 bar to switch.
