Burkert 00141304 – Type 0331 3/2-Way Media-Separated Solenoid Valve, Stainless Steel, FFKM
The Burkert 00141304 (article no. 141304) is a Type 0331 direct-acting pivoted armature solenoid valve in circuit function C (3/2-way, normally closed). It is Bürkert’s chemical-duty configuration of the 0331, with these features:
- Stainless steel body on a Bürkert flange (SFB) interface
- FFKM (perfluoroelastomer) seals
- 4.0 mm orifice (5/32 inch)
- 0 – 5 bar operating pressure
- 24 V coil
- Medium temperature +5 to +90 °C
At rest, inlet port 1 (P) is closed and outlet port 2 (A) is vented to exhaust port 3 (R). When energised, P connects to A.
Why FFKM and Stainless Steel
In the Type 0331, a diaphragm keeps the medium completely away from the pivoted armature and the coil system. Bürkert reserves its FFKM seal option for:
- Aggressive media
- Hot air
- Hot oils
Combined with a stainless steel (1.4401) body and seat, the 00141304 is the 0331 variant chosen for demanding chemical service, where NBR, EPDM or FKM would not be resistant enough. The coil is moulded in chemically resistant epoxy, insulation class H.
Largest 0331 Orifice
DN 4 is the largest orifice in the Type 0331 range. It gives a Kv value of 0.15 m³/h (DC) or 0.18 m³/h (AC), the highest flow of the series. In exchange, the pressure range is 0 – 5 bar, compared with 10 bar for DN 3 and up to 16 bar for DN 2. For vacuum service, Bürkert specifies -0.98 to 3 bar at DN 4.
Using the 00141304 in Other Circuit Functions
Bürkert allows a 0331 built as circuit function C to be connected in other circuit functions, with adjusted pressure limits. For a DN 4 metal-body valve:
- Function A (2/2 NC): up to 5 bar
- Function F (distributor): up to 5 bar
- Function B (2/2 NO), D (3/2 NO) or E (mixing): up to 0.8 bar

Mounting
The flange version fits Bürkert G ¼ manifolds, including stainless steel versions such as the 4-slot manifold 658925. Stainless steel cover plates (265294) close unused slots, and stainless steel nipples (007376) link manifolds together.
