Festo 153437 QSKL-3/8-12 – Self-Sealing Push-In L-Fitting, R3/8 Male Thread to 12 mm Tubing
The Festo 153437 (type QSKL-3/8-12) is a self-closing push-in L-fitting from Festo’s QSK series. It connects 12 mm OD pneumatic tubing at 90° to an R3/8 male thread. Its key feature is the integrated shut-off function: when the tube is removed, the fitting closes automatically, so tubing or downstream components can be disconnected without shutting off the supply line.
The fitting is orientable, so the tube outlet can be turned to the required direction after installation. The tapered R3/8 thread has a self-sealing PTFE coating, which allows the fitting to be re-used up to five times. The housing is PBT, the screw-in stud is nickel-plated brass, the tube clamping is stainless steel and the tube seal is NBR. With a large 6.2 mm nominal size, it suits main supply lines and higher-flow branches.
